Our group of 8 friends stayed at Howard’s place when visiting the area for a wedding and we loved it! We utilized almost the entire house during the stay. 4 private bedrooms with 2 on the first level and 2 in the basement. Both the basement and family room/dining room were very spacious. Kitchen was well equipped with items we needed. Bonfire pit outside was great. Chairs for everyone around the fire. 2 outdoor decks with additional seating. Kayaks! Beautiful fall foliage that could be viewed from the many large windows on first level of the home. A great find!

What a beautiful place to stay! My family and I (6 adults and my infant son) stayed here for a week. We checked in quite late but it was so easy to do so, that we had no problems even after a tiring drive from the airport. The place was clean, and all was as described in the listing and in the pictures. It had everything we needed except an iron - which Howard had communicated to us before we arrived. It’s such a great location, with the canal passing right by the back of the house - it was the perfect spot to relax and watch some boats go by. It’s also a really nice neighbourhood to walk around, and the locals that we bumped into were all very friendly. There is a grocery store 3 min drive away, which was perfect for us and had everything we needed for the week. All in all, a great stay and thanks to Howard for making it easy and comfortable for us. I’d definitely recommend staying here.

Was amazing, no complaints. We came here for my sisters bachelorette party. It was spacious, clean, bright, and fun. Slept 10 comfortably with extra room still. Thank you Howard for an awesome stay.

Our 4th of July family gathering at this house was perfect! The home was spacious and comfortable, with plenty of room for everyone to sleep. We appreciated the large kitchen area—it made meals and gatherings easy and fun. Most of our time was spent outside, enjoying the back deck, big yard, and access to the water. The kids loved the outdoor water toys and indoor games, which were used constantly and added so much fun to the stay. The adults enjoyed relaxing on the water with the floats and taking out the kayaks. The combination of kid-friendly activities and relaxing spaces made it ideal for all ages. The location is beautiful and peaceful, making it a perfect retreat. This was our second time staying at the house, and I’m sure it won’t be our last. Everything about it was just right for our family. Thanks again for sharing this amazing space with us—we had a wonderful time and made so many great memories!

Great place to stay! We had a group of 13 stay for the weekend here for a bachelor party and loved every bit of it! Very easy communication with Howard, well laid out instructions and nice subtle labeling on things in the household that made things easy. Another big plus is that it's located so close to a local grocery store making it quick and easy to go grab something if you happen to need anything. Highly recommend staying here if you're ever debating it!

Howard is an amazing host. He was super responsive and accommodating to our large group. He had all the amenities that were listed on the property and more! We had more than enough towels and even kitchen appliances, spices, and utensils. His instructions were clear about checking out and our group had a wonderful weekend.
